"Dando y dando” is the title of a work* which was created in 1997 by Angel Ramirez and Belkis Ayon in order to demonstrate the possibility of a dialog and mutual respect of different ideas.
In “Dando y dando” 2004 Angel presents the theme, symbolized by a king, to his teachers, students and friends and retreats in order to make room for their ideas, thus offering an alternative to the traditional concepts of power.

Angel intends to continue this project, and would be happy if artists from other countries were to participate.

* It was shown in the same year in Tokio, where the two held their first exposition together.

Sandra Ramos expresses herself not only with graphic arts, paintings and drawings, but also with videos and installations. Her latest work is a series of remarkable computer graphics. The works presented in this catalog are part of the series “Alice”, a metapher she uses to point out the sometimes not very wonderful things in our world.

Israel González and Octavio Irving do also have excellent works on canvas, which we will present to you on special request.

Colagraphy
In Colagraphy (cola= glue) the image is made from layers of matirials like india-rubber, wood, cloth, or cellulose with are pasted on a matrix made of metal, linolium, cardboard or wood.
The coloring and printing process is the same as in others graphic arts.
