Dando y Dando

Angel Ramirez (> curriculum catalog 1) is professor at the art academies San Alejandro and ISA (Instituto Superior de Arte), where he tought the graphic arts to several generations and many of the here participating artists.

Belkis Ayon was born 1967 in Havana. She studied at San Alejandro and ISA and took her life in 1999 after a comet-like art career.

Amando Posse, born 1917 in Havana, has been founder of the Association of Cuban Graphic Arts (1949) and teacher of Angel Ramirez. His works have been 185 times exhibited and 6 times awarded.

Lesbia Vent Dumois, born 1932 in Cienfuegos, studied in Cuba and the Chech Republic. She was also a teacher of A. Ramirez. Her works participated in more then 200 expositions and 4 graphic biennials.

Luis Miguel Valdes, born 1949 in Pinar del Rio, studied at the art academy ENA (Escuela Nacional de Artes) and in Paris. He resides in Mexico, and his works have been in 209 expositions and received 6 awards.

Ramón Casas (sculptor), was born 1954 in Camaguëy, studied at the ISA and demonstrated his art in more then 200 expositions.
Manuel Castellanos,orn 1949 in Sancti Spíritus. He studied at the ENA (Escuela Nacional de Arte) and lives since 1982 in Finland. His works participated so far in 181 expositions and 5 bienials and got 14 awards.
Luis Cabrera was born in Havana in 1956. He studied at the academies San Alejandro, ENA and ISA, and participated in over 200 expositions. His works were awarded in Germany, Norway, Japan and Spain, where he also lives.
